Welcome to Steeze ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application Steeze (the "App") available on the Google Play Store. Please read this policy carefully. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Personal Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Name — your display name within the App.
• Email address — used for account creation, login, and transactional communications.
• Password — securely hashed using industry-standard algorithms (Argon2). We never store plaintext passwords.
• Google Account ID — if you choose to sign in via Google, we receive your Google ID and associated email. We do not receive or store your Google password.

1.2 Images & Media

Steeze requires images to function as a styling service:

• Full-body photo — used to analyze your body type, proportions, skin tone, and posture for personalized outfit recommendations.
• Clothing item photos — images of your garments to build your digital wardrobe. AI extracts attributes like fabric, color, pattern, and fit.
• Generated try-on images — rendered images showing how outfits look on you, saved in your try-on history.

All images are stored securely on Cloudinary, a third-party cloud media management platform. Images are transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.

1.3 Location Data

With your permission, the App accesses your device's location to:

• Fetch real-time weather data for outfit recommendations.
• Provide weather-aware trip outfit planning.

Location data is processed on-device and sent to OpenWeatherMap's API as a city-level query. We do not store your precise GPS coordinates on our servers.

1.4 Usage & Analytics Data

We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymized usage data, including:

• Screen views, session durations, and engagement metrics.
• App crash reports and performance metrics.
• Feature usage patterns (e.g., which screens are most visited).

This data is aggregated and does not identify individual users.

1.5 Advertising Data

The App uses Google AdMob to display rewarded video advertisements. AdMob may collect:

• Device advertising identifiers.
• IP address (for ad serving and fraud prevention).
• Interaction data with advertisements.

You can opt out of personalized advertising via your device's privacy settings.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide core functionality — create and manage your account, build your digital wardrobe, generate outfit recommendations, and render virtual try-ons.
• Personalize your experience — analyze your body features, skin tone, and wardrobe to deliver tailored styling advice.
• Weather integration — fetch weather data so recommendations are seasonally and climatically appropriate.
• Manage credits — track your virtual credit balance, daily reward claims, and ad reward fulfillment.
• Improve the App — analyze aggregated usage patterns to fix bugs, improve performance, and develop new features.
• Communicate with you — send transactional emails such as email verification codes and password reset links. We will never send unsolicited marketing emails.
• Ensure safety — automatically screen uploaded images for inappropriate content using our safety filtering system.

3. Third-Party Services

We integrate the following third-party services to power Steeze. Each operates under its own privacy policy:

• Cloudinary — cloud-based image storage and delivery. Privacy Policy
• Groq — AI language and vision model provider for wardrobe analysis and outfit recommendations. Privacy Policy
• Wavespeed AI — virtual try-on image generation. Privacy Policy
• OpenWeatherMap — weather forecast data. Privacy Policy

• Google Sign-In — social authentication provider. Privacy Policy

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. Specifically:

• Account data — retained until you delete your account.
• Uploaded images — retained until you manually delete them or delete your account.
• Try-on history — retained for 30 days from generation, after which generated images may be automatically removed from cloud storage.
• Trip data — retained until you manually delete individual trips or your account.
• Analytics data — retained per Firebase's default retention policies (typically 14 months).

When you delete your account, all associated personal data, images, wardrobe records, trip plans, and try-on history are permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days.

5. Data Security

We implement robust security measures to protect your data:

• All data is transmitted via HTTPS/TLS encryption.
• Passwords are hashed using the Argon2 algorithm — the gold standard in password hashing.
• Authentication uses JWT (JSON Web Tokens) with short-lived access tokens and refresh token rotation.
• Tokens are stored on-device using Flutter Secure Storage, backed by the platform's secure keychain.
• Image upload safety filtering is applied before images reach cloud storage.

While we take every reasonable precaution, no method of transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate personal data.
• Deletion — request deletion of your account and all associated data. You can do this from within the App's Profile screen, or via our Account Deletion page.
• Portability — request an export of your data in a standard format.
• Withdraw consent — you may revoke location or camera permissions at any time via your device settings.

7. Children's Privacy

Steeze is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to promptly delete that information. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

8. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, where our cloud service providers operate. By using Steeze, you consent to this transfer. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for cross-border data transfers.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy within the App and updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
